We spotted and photographed these bald eagles in the Shields Valley between Clyde Park and Livingston Montana. We see eagles and hawks in the cotton wood trees along the Shields River south of Clyde Park every time we pass through this area. We did not down size these photos so you can see all the detail. That being said you may need to give them a little extra time to load. Click on any photo to enlarge the gallery.
Did you know that Bald Eagles mate for life? The male and female work together to build a nest of sticks that can weigh up to a ton and measure up to 8 feet across and 10 feet deep.
