The Rodeo Capital of the World

Cody, Wyoming is known as the Rodeo Capital of the World – with a rodeo every single night from June 1 through August 31. Home of the Cody Nite Rodeo, the Buffalo Bill Cody Stampede, Wrangler Champion Challenge, and Xtreme Bulls; no matter what you see there is an adventure in store for you.

In past years I have been to the Cody Nite Rodeo which is a fun show with all the classic rodeo events and the funniest rodeo clowns and intermissions shows I’ve seen. This past 4th of July weekend held the Buffalo Bill Cody Stampede bringing in the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association cowboys to the famed arena just in time for America’s Birthday. This show too was phenomenal, the level of competition for the cowboys trying to get to Vegas was extreme. The famed announcer even commentated the entire event on horseback.

Gates Open @ 7PM [Get there early and sit on Hollywood the bull]

Rodeo Starts @ 8PM

The stampede grounds draw a full crowd so be sure to get there in plenty of time to find a seat and parking spot or you can ride the Cody Rodeo Bus. Find all of the information you need here or buy tickets here.
